PANJIT and TOREX Hold Signing Ceremony for Acquisition of 95% Equity in TOREX Vietnam Semiconductor
PANJIT International Inc. (“PANJIT”) and Torex Semiconductor Ltd. jointly held the signing ceremony on December 18 for PANJIT’s acquisition of 95% equity in TOREX Vietnam Semiconductor Co., Ltd. (“Torex Vietnam”), which marks an important milestone in the transaction and formally initiates the equity transfer procedures between the two parties.
The event brought together senior management from PANJIT, Torex Semiconductor Ltd., and Torex Vietnam. PANJIT was represented by members of senior management, including Group President, Jason Fang; Chairman & CEO, Jeff Fang; COO, Edgar Chen; and Vice President, Chris Yeo, along with other senior executives. Torex Semiconductor Ltd. was represented by President, Takeshi Kimura; General Manager, Takashi Miyata; and General Manager, Takashi Maegawa, together with other senior management members.
With the signing ceremony completed, both parties will move forward with the equity transfer process and operational integration in line with their agreed roadmap. As part of this integration, PANJIT will expand automotive-grade production capacity at the Vietnam facility through the installation of new equipment. The initial phase includes the addition of two new production lines, addressing the stringent requirements of Tier-1 automotive customers, including high reliability, consistent quality, automotive-grade process control, and stable long-term supply, while also enhancing production flexibility and responsiveness. Mass production for the automotive lines is planned to commence in the third quarter of 2026, followed by the completion of customer automotive qualification and validation processes.
Going forward, the PANJIT Vietnam facility is expected to play an increasingly important role in supporting PANJIT’s automotive and high-reliability product strategy, strengthening its manufacturing foundation in Southeast Asia and enabling the company to better serve global customers over the long term.
